Suburban furnace restart

We had a LP tank that was low and switched tanks but the heater would not start with new tank. After scratching my head for a while I pulled the fuse and then started it and fired. Is this a normal issue or do I have another issue emerging? Have not run it all night yet will know more later.

  • Sounds like an unrelated coincidence. If the furnace blower ran and sparked to light the gas, no fuse issue is likely. Just too much air in the LP line? If so, purge by lighting a galley range burner. Perhaps the time lapse of diagnosing allowed the gas to replace the air in the line?
