Good job on the post !!! I like the soundcloud part.
By the sound of it the blade is hitting on something. You need to take it apart first before buying parts. It's possible that something just got stuck in it. Or, that you may be able to see where it is hitting and clearance out the problem by bending or tweaking something. Or, maybe the mounting bracket has slipped and you need to adjust the fan motor and then tighten down the bracket.
If you don' use it often it may not be wore out and need replacing. Just a adjustment might be on order.
My 22 year old furnace works just fine and I use it fairly often. But, not a lot.
