I think he was making reference to the plastic toy trucks on the grass in front of the camper in one of the pics! I had to go back and look, as I did not notice any trucks in the first pass.
It's great that you are getting out there. I camped with my parents and grandparents as a kid, and purchased our first RV when we had our first kid. It provides great family time - we all love it.
I thought I'd mention this, but could be off base if your awning is different than others that I've seen and used. To me it looks like you did not roll it all the way out, which means that the supports that you slide up the rail are not in the correct position. On most, those supports should slide all the way up and snap in place up by the tube. When locked in place, they should extend from the camper, right out to the top of the rail and end of the tube. I'd just hate to see the awning fold up in heavy rain or wind because the support are were not in the correct position.
