Suggestion
Would you recommend travel trailer to use traveling all over USA? Read somewhere to not do this. If we are starting to look around and and don't want to regret if we buy a more expensive 5th wheel

It's all in what works best for you, another consideration is the tow vehicle being used. For most newer 1/2 tons there will be lots of choices when looking at travel trailers, 5ers are pin heavy and will exceed payload capacity way before reaching towing capacity making choices in 5th wheels slim. There are some ultra-lite 5ers out there that can be towed with a half-ton TV, although under the same scenario I would opt for a more solidly built, full featured travel trailer for perusing our great nation.
