Super Hitch: & Safety Chains:

Recently installed a new S.H., and didn't notice TL now welds an extra plate under the frame where the Safety Chains attach, making this part of frame 1/2" (.500 ml.). my older one is only 1/4" (.250 ml.). I had to cut part of the Safety Spring Clip to get my chains off. Luckily I have a small elec. sawzall with me, otherwise I would have had to pull cotter pin off clevis pin, to get chains off truck and left hooks on. My older S.H.is 2008 newer one 2017. just trying to help someone avoid the troubles. Leave it up too TL to improve an all-ready superior product. K Mac.
