Guess I misread what he was asking about
"Unless I can solve my missing brake controller plug issue, is there such a thing as a surge activated device in the receiver that can activate the electric trailer brakes?" I thought he had a trailer with surge brakes and was looking to go to electric. LOL my bad, two many 12 hour days :o
It's going to cost me about $900 total with the new trailer coupler and everything needed for the Elc. over Hyd. conversion. But from all the reviews it is the best way to go.
