Surge Protector?
How many of you TCers use a portable surge protector between your AC source (house, RV park pedestal, generator) and your TC? Think it's necessary? Don't think it is?

BTW anyone who wants to prevent brown outs should consider the new Hughes autoformer which does test polarity, bad neutral, bad ground, has limited surge capability, and of course corrects low voltage.

Do you use one of those units? They seem quite large so I assume you keep it outside. Any issues wrt theft or weather?
