- jimh406Explorer IIIKayteg1, I think OP is talking about a 30 amp line protector that protects the entire TC. In any case, I don't usually use hookups, but I don't carry a full RV line protector.
Fyi, there seems to be a sale on for anyone thinking about one. Few years ago in my neighborhood we had high voltage spike (estimated 400V)
I had SP on my TV/radio center, but lost couple of power supplies and fuseable link on my digital dishwasher blew, but lot of neighbors lost their big screens and computers.
NOW they are buying surge protectors.
