Surprising discovery: 5-speed vs 6-speed automatic

I'll stick with a 5 sp ally over the 6 sp, unless they give me 4.10 or 4.33 gear sets. I do not see the need for a dod the way I drive, most of the time under 55, with freeway legal speeds of 60 where I drive. So the DOD to drive 65-70 as many do, does not do me any good, unless I can go to a lower axel gear. I could use/see the need in how I tow with a lower overall first ratio, vs the final drive. 6th with a DOD is the same final drive as OD with a 3.73.
