I just got a Premier 22RB and it also is way up in the air. I didn't notice it that much until I pulled beside it with the Bullet in signature. It is a full foot higher. There are definitely tradeoffs. I always worried about the jacks dragging on the other trailer.
I just went out and measured distance to the ground from the jacks on the Premier. It is not sitting on an entirely level pad, but they average about 17" off the ground. The axle is under the springs and it does look like the axles could be flipped over and still have clearance on the wheels. I would almost consider having it done to cut wind resistance and save fuel, but I suspect it would take a long, long time to pay for the modification in fuel savings. Then, with my luck, I would get into a dip and drag off a jack.
My DW and I bought the 19, sight unseen, after seeing a longer Premier on our dealer's lot. This one was on order and we liked the smaller trailer. There is a long backstory here. But, when we saw how the unit was, we almost backed out of the deal. I let the dealer convince me that this one would be easy to tow. The TT does go down the road well. But, it looks like it is about two feet or so too high. This is not my first TT, but I can say for certain that if there is any kind of headwind, your fuel mileage is going with the wind. Depending on the comments here, I am likely going to try to lower the unit. Thank you for your comment.
