Any other thoughts?
Do you all think I'll be able to flip the shackle around the right way only jacking up one side at a time? Or do you think the weight/tension on the other side will make it too difficult to get it flipped the right way?
After I had the axle flip completed the spring shackles were nearly horizontal, then when I jacked on the equalizing plate, the forward axle shackle went into the position it's in now. Looking back, I should have stopped and done what I had to do to correct it before procceeding, while the entire rig was still up on blocks, lesson learned!
Any other thoughts would be appreciated.
