Do a lot of you run a sway bar on your duallys to help with a heavy camper? Have not been on a trip yet with my Ram 3500 and Hosts cascade. Going on maiden voyage 2nd week in July. Also thinking about adding lower stable loads already have them.

I put a Hellwig Big Wig on my 2016 Ram 3500 SRW. It helped a lot. I transferred it off the 2016 onto the new 2018 dually. I have made one 800 mile trip with it. It worked well. However I haven't disconnected it with the camper on to determine the difference running with and without it. The installation on the 2018 was a bit easier than the 2016. Like most aftermarket manufacturers, Hellwigs instructions are unclear and sometimes just wrong because they are not updated for newer models.You will have to un-clip and bend the small brake tubing on top of the axle a little. The hanger bolting at the rear of the frame is a tight fit. Otherwise I'm happy with it. I did loosen and back off the double nuts on one of the hangers to effectively disconnect it for unloaded driving.I would make 1 short trip without any mods just to see what it does. I would bet you will want the sway bar, not sure about the StableLoads. My Bigfoot is about 4500# wet and heavily loaded. Only mod I have is the sway bar.

I'd use one. Sway bars are not there to prevent sway from happening. they are only to help control it during a emergency maneuver. So IF you think you will never have to dodge a deer, or bear, or accident happening in front of you. Don't put one on. But if like me. You may someday have to jerk the wheel to miss something. Put it on.

I have lower stable loads on my dually. They really shine when driving in cross winds. Best mod I have done to the Trucks suspension.

Really, some duallies come without a sway bar? If so, I'd say yes to the sway bar.

My F550 came stock with one, but I replaced with a much larger one when I installed the camper. You can really tell the difference. Took most of the roll out. 550's have 10 leaf springs plus the helper. Wish there was a heavier front bar, but no luck so far. Camper weighs about 6600 lbs and is tail heavy.
