Sway Control Upgrade

I have the ProPride,I love it,wish I had bought it sooner

At 30ft and 9400# you could be exceeding the 1400# max on the Hensley and Propride anyway. I'm at 1350# TW with a 32ft and 8500#. I've had several threads concerning my Reese Dual Cam as well as the HA and PP in regards to tongue weight.
The DC can be a complete PITA to dial in. I set it up on my old combo perfect the first time. This one has taken a trip to Fla. and back before I got it right. I would HIGHLY recommend going to a scale and finding your tongue weight before you buy any hitch. I had 1200# spring bars that I thought were more than adequate for my trailer, but wasn't.
There are some real DC pros on here than can help get it dialed in, if you go that route.

I have a Blue Ox sway pro pulling a 33' no problems what so ever.

I have an Equalizer and pull a 33ft TT total length 37 ft, loaded 11,500 lbs.
Have never had any sway problems even meeting or passing trucks or them passing me. Edmonton, Alberta Canada to Arizona very comfortable ride. Good luck!!

They way I am looking I have 5 choices, the Reese Double Cam, the Equal-I-zer, the Blue Ox, the Hensley Arrow, and the Pro Pride.

For my trailer 30' long 9,500lbs. loaded I think the Hensley and Pro Pride are overkill and would probably would not be justified in spending the excess money.

I'm thinking I would be good to go with the Reese DC, Equal-I-zer, or the Blue Ox. Does anybody have thoughts between these, pros/cons, ect. Thanks for the help and opinions.

I'm happy with my BlueOx swaypro. Having said that, mine is the first generation design, and my camper trailer is a rather short 19', pulled by a Nissan Frontier.
The combo tows very well in all wind and road conditions.

Haha, I just went through this and maybe you have read my journey with my "dancing tt". It completely eliminates the sway.

I agree try to find the problem then get a HA, if you can... I tried everything, got the HA, and it solved my problem. It tows like nothing I've ever towed before.

We use the equal-i-zer and find we have no push from transports as they pass on the freeways.

There's no grease on an Equal-i-zer spring bar either. The grease stays on the hitch head around the outside of the sockets that the spring bars slide into.

Another vote for the BO Sway Pro. Easy to set up, and unhook, no grease on the spring bars to deal with.
