We tow a 30 ft 6800 lb trailer with a Chev 1500. I inflate the trailer tires to the max on the sidewalls. The truck tires are P metric. The rears are set to max at 44 PSI. The fronts I keep at 40. The trailer is very slightly nose down. The front of the truck measure at the fenders is returned to the original unhooked height with the Equal-i-Zer WD bars. We tow 8-10 000 miles per winter. We have no sway and do not get push from tractor trailers passing us. Out trailer is a rear living room so it has a heavy tongue weight. Lots of weight on the tongue is your friend when you are towing. You should be able to tow that trailer with an F150 and have no issues at all. Try the items I mentioned and also the weight hints from above.
