Nice truck and wheels! Vision or Ricksons? Had 19.5 Visions on my previous 2006 Ram CTD. Nice wheels but had front end woes on 3rd generation truck. Balance, Wheel hub assemblies, and lug studs breaking... But liked the increase in weight capacity.
The aluminum wheels Rickson resells are the Vision Heavy Haulers rated at 4500 lbs each. Rickson's heavier steel wheels are rated at 5000 lbs each which are hub concentric but have a long production time between order and delivery. American Force is the third company that offers 19.5" rims - They are forged aluminum but rated at 6500 lbs each. I don't know if they are hub or lug concentric.
I also ran the Vision rims but with slightly smaller LRH 16PR 245's rated over 4800 lbs each. These were just over 33" tall and matched my previous 275/70R18 tire height. My RAW was typically at 7000-8000 lbs, GVW at 11,500-12,500 lbs and GCW at 11,500-19,500 lbs. The variation depended on whether I just had the camper or both camper and trailer attached and what I was carrying at the time in the trailer. - BriskExplorer IIOP Who makes that Headache rack?

S Davis thanks I will pump them up.
Grit Thanks for the concern and I will keep and eye on the front end although these new trucks are so much heavier because of the bigger and beefier suspension parts. I had a 2006 mega cab and pulled the same camper and there is no comparison in how these trucks are built.
No problem, I just upgraded mine last year. - Jimf1234ExplorerS Davis thanks I will pump them up.

cummins Yeah my bumper and winch weigh 400lbs. Most of the toy haulers I have looked at have a pin weight around 4000lbs and since I have a srw I wanted more capable tires. These are rated at 5500lbs vs 6170 for drw. How much transfers to the front axle of your truck when hitched up? I got less than 100lbs with my old 2500 mega cab.
Me again Wheels
Alex They are stiff but at 65psi they are comparable to my stock tires at 80psi.
Blofgren The stock Firestone 285 60 20's are 33.4" tall with a max load of 3640@80psi
The toys 608z are 265 70 19.5 are 34.1" with a max load of 5500@110psi
Thanks! That makes sense.
I add around 150# to front axle with 5er attached. - Grit_dogNavigatorSweet setup by the way! Just don't expect no extra wear n tear up front.
- Grit_dogNavigatorThat's a lot of weight on the steers for a pickup!
Only so many Doo dads you can hang off a light duty truck before it becomes a lead sled.
Good luck with your ball joints. - S_DavisExplorer

Just a heads up I was told the lowest recommend pressure is 70 psi because of the 15 degree taper of the wheel bead. - Jimf1234Explorercummins Yeah my bumper and winch weigh 400lbs.
