What a great trip, Tahoe in summer, 5 buddies and I pooled our money after the Navy and bought the Shell station at the Y in Tahoe City in the late 70's. Waterskiing, and dirt bikes in Desolation Wilderness just about everyday after work.
Man, I would have loved to be around Tahoe in the 70's...those were the glory days for sure! My uncle was building houses in Incline Village and teaching skiing at Squaw around that time frame, and was an avid water skier as well, so I'm sure you two crossed paths!
