Aron is right that all three will tow the same since they all have the HD Towing Package. The Limited is likely the cheapest of the three but it still offers a lot of luxuries. The King Ranch and Platinum have premium leather seats along with different styling. The King Ranch is a more western look while the platinum is a more edgy style. Both the KR and Platinum are high end models will all the bells a whistles but that might take away from payload compared to a lesser optioned Limited. If money were not a limiting factor I would buy a King Ranch in a New York second but we were more frugal in seeking a Limited model.
One thing I forgot to discuss was the entry keypad available on all three models. I do lot of outdoor activities and I don't like to take along my keys every time especially when running, fishing, or hunting. With the Fords I'm able to hide the keys in the vehicle and do my activities without the weight, bulk, or noise of keys on me. It's also really convenient when I need to enter a vehicle randomly. After growing accustomed to this feature, the wife and I can't imagine going back to a vehicle without this luxury. I use it almost 3-4 times daily and I'm fortunate to live and work in an area where my vehicles are relatively secure compared to other places.
Good luck shopping and enjoy the new ride no matter which one you get. Ultimately they're all really good vehicles today.
