Tailgate update for 5th wheel tow vehicles
It would be great to hear from those that would have experience with the tail gait that has been cut down the centre to a "V" for 5th wheel towing. I guess the question is, is this really a big advant...

Good to know , but I'm pushing 230 #'s so probably won't
test the tensile strength.
BTW... pulled my tailgate off today for the first time... ever...
10 + years.... took me 5.7 seconds !!! Sheesh...shame on GM. The
knowledge that the bad guys can clean a block out in less then 10
minutes is not reassuring. I'd hate to have to buy it back from a chop shop...er...
2nd hand truck warehouse.
I have been meaning to do the louvered gate since I bought the 5ver..no time like the present.
