Tailgate update for 5th wheel tow vehicles
It would be great to hear from those that would have experience with the tail gait that has been cut down the centre to a "V" for 5th wheel towing. I guess the question is, is this really a big advant...

I thought there was a Ram prototype for something like this. Notched and split- it was pretty unique.
There was. Now my memory fades, but it was a factory custom built Ram 5500 think it was called the Long Hauler. Prototype only built.
Extra long behind the cab as it had a huge mid-ship fuel tank in there. And the notched factory tailgate.
