Greetings, RV.net - been lurking a while and figured "high time" to try and ask a question I've not seen discussed, although I may be "search fu limited"... I'm looking at TC's to support my racing...

Built in generators are way more expensive ($4K) then a Honda 2K (<$1K). The LP supply on a TC isn't big enough in reality to power the genset for any length of time.
Most TCs come with an AC unit that is way too big (13.5/15K) for the task (causing them to cycle unnecessarily often) and even out here in the desert work well with one of the smaller 9000BTU units that a Honda will run easily.
