I have an LPG Onan 2.5 KW in my Lance. Previous to that, I used a Yamaha 3000. If I am going to camp where I need to run the AC for longer periods, I still carry the Yamaha. It has run 14 hours on one fill in 105F temperature. The best I have gotten out of the LPG Onan is 7 hours from a 20 lb. tank.
I do like the convenience of the built-in LPG Onan. I use it sparingly though.
