We are also happy with the built in LPG generator that only requires a touch of a button to start or stop. We have over 250 hours on ours after 4.5 years, so it gets used often.
60 lbs of LPG are in the TC which lasts through a 3-day dry weekend even if we are running the AC a lot. However I have a LPG campfire, outdoor heater and exterior grill I carry and always have extra bottles for these accessories.
The Onan is louder than the portable inverter models. If we are running it, the door is closed because we are using AC or it is short time because we are cooking with electric.
Not having to find a place to stow or secure the generator is plus in addition to setup or breakdown time required. When we pull into a rest stop, we fire up the generator and have a hot meal without even thinking about what we need pull out, secure or hook up.
My trailer already carries spare fresh water, waste water, LPG and gasoline tanks in addition to more batteries, so fuel source does not matter to me as long as it burns clean and I have enough of it.
