You do feel the Onan running if you are sitting over the top of it on the dinette bench. Onan has made subtle changes over the years for better vibration dampening and depending which model was installed in your TC, you may have better exhaust muffling than others. Onan now has a model with the muffler integrated into the case instead of being external - I don't know which one is quieter because you have a number of external muffler options and they may even allow a dual chamber exhaust.
