I have an Onan propane gen set in my TC. I have managed to use it for 5.5 hours in the last year, if I had a gas Honda it would have ran about the same. In moderate temps you can live just fine with the Fantastic Fan venting the camper and with two batteries and a solar panel you should be able to last until propane runs out for the fridge and the tanks fill up on a boondocking adventure.
I spent a week in the woods last deer season, ran the gen for three hours, heat daily, all propane fridge and hot water for a week and used one 30lb cylinder of gas. I just did three weeks on the road with my TC as my home. 1/2 the time I was parking lot camping or in the woods, the rest in state parks and RV parks with hook ups. No gens in state parks generally. I still have a ton of propane on the camper, I used the gen for 1.5 hours on a hot day.
If you are camping on a racetrack infield or anywhere else you can run an extension cord you are golden for AC power and TV. I do not care to watch TV when I am adventuring and do not even have one in the camper. I've seen people hauling 20 gallons of gas so they can drag a camper into the national forest and sit in the thing watching Oprah for six days. I don't get it.
I drive a diesel truck and the idea of dragging a third fuel is not appealing. You might need the AC for an hour or two now and again unless you plan on sitting in the truck staring out the window all day. If I want juice to run the microwave or col the place down, I prime and start from one button in the TC, same to shut it down.
