Greetings, RV.net - been lurking a while and figured "high time" to try and ask a question I've not seen discussed, although I may be "search fu limited"... I'm looking at TC's to support my racing...

One of the real challenges with TC's and LP gennies in cold climates is that you just cannot carry enough lp.
Even if you have dual 30# tanks you will burn through that very quickly trying to run heat and a genny.
We can run our Honda 2k for 12 hrs on 1 tank (1 gal) of gas. This leaves us 2 20# tanks of propane for use as a heat source only. We can do a 3-4 day ski weekend with 1 gal of gas and less than 2 tanks of propane. I would need to carry the equivalent of 80#-100# or propane to do same. I have no idea how we could do that without towing some type of trailer...
Just something else to think about. It really comes down to how/when you would use your genny.
