T/C for S/B with no overhang

Palomino, Four wheel Camper, All Terrain Camper for some but they are all pop ups. I don't know of any 6'6" in hardside.

My TC is an 8' designed for an 6' box. I use a Super Hitch with a 2' extension for my boat or utility trailer and a 4' extension for my MC.

I can even plug my boat trailer in behind the MC as the MC rack is welded on top of the extension.

I've seen a handicap portapotty out at the lake that is about that size... a few modifications and you'd have it.


Truth is... many people just use a camper shell on their truck and a sleeping bag.

We elimanated the truck for many years and did it in the back of a station wagon... the biggest problem was that it caused children

to commune with nature... you get closer to the wild side.

Getting back to basics is a necessity in such a limited space... I can't imagine going on a trip for more than two or three days... we are often traveling for 3 to 6 months.

Northstar makes the Liberty which has a 7' floor length. Overhang should be minimal with that. Six-Pac Campers did make a 650 series camper with a 6.75' floor length, but they are currently not building campers. May be able to find one used out there somewhere.

The Northstar TC 650 pop up is made for a S/B we tow a horse trailer with ours and can use the factory hitch. Panther campers are made in Vancouver WA and they make a hard sided very light weight camper for S/B trucks.

I think the Camplite 6.8 is as close as you're going to get in a hardside.

six pack made a hardside for a s/b had one before i bought the adventurer. not sure if they ever started up again so you could search for a used one.

Capri campers model 42 has no overhead. Bare bones camper.
