TC off truck

Idk the particular recommendations for that camper, but surely, you've accessed the inside of the camper while it was off the truck and sitting on jacks?
How did it feel? Stability?
Anything sagging underneath?
How well do the 20+ year old jacks work if you cycle them full height a bunch of times?
90% chance it's perfectly good with some simple support under the belly to help stabilize or take part of the load and might be fine with no additional support.
Someone with a similar model will likely reply now that we know what camper you're asking about.

Thanks for input My camper is 1997 Lance 8000 extended cab style , This is my first trip in truck camper in 35 years , My first camper was not this big or heavy . Hope this gives idea .

Like said, depends on the camper, but worst case make a plywood “X” support or couple fold up saw horses and a sheet of plywood or similar.
Depending on where it is and how long staying determines how much I lower it even if using it off the truck.
But it’s totally doable.

I lived in my TC for a year off the truck. Just support the floor.

Ok, jayco. Not sure my fear was rational but it was real!

We sleep in our Northstar off the truck without any issues. Just lower it down and you will have no issues.

Put mine even lower than yours. Put mine as low as possible but still use the grey tank drain which requires an elbow to access.

This picture shows front support on my Fleetwood during the repairs.
The lower 1x4 board and steel corners are my reinforcement and the picture shows following repairs when the wings sag.
I did the 1st repair after my water tank start showing outside.
Camper has "aluminium construction" but no aluminium on the wall in picture. Turn out first years of introducing aluminium to TC industry was just a skeleton, where most of corners still depend on wood for integrity.

Yep, camper dependant, I sleep a lot with camper off truck, no problem-o. Just lower it down and while it will sway and shutter in a strong wind, it's fine...

some owners report front floor separation due to water tank weight when having camper on jacks only.
I had it as well on my Fleetwood, but it had dryrot damage at the time, so now, even I reinforced the floor with additional steel plates, I always put 4x4 beam under front floor and either cut to length piece of 4x10 or couple of 4x4 as vertical support. That also drastically reduces camper movement
