I ordered my F250 with the camper package. This gave me uprated front springs, rear stabilizer bar and upper overload springs. Carrying a 4000 lb camper caused the rear to sag too much but by preloading the upper and lower rear springs with Torklift StableLoad upper pads and lower wedges, the truck handled the camper fine with the optional 275/70R18 tires on 18" rims.
Once I hitched up my enclosed trailer that can weigh 6000-8000 lbs when loaded, I had to be careful how I loaded the camper and the trailer so I did not exceed tire capacity even when I cranked the weight distribution hitch tighter than normal.
This got old after a couple of months, which prompted me to upgrade the wheels to 19.5". Since these tires and rims are heavier than stock, I upgraded the shocks to Rancho RS9000XL to control the unsprung weight. Knowing I would also be putting more weight on the rear when towing, I added Firestone airbags to adjust for this 1000 lb variation. I never had to add more than 50 psi to the bags to return to level.

I am fortunate to live close to the freeway where they leave the scales on even when the station is closed. My truck empty weighed 7250 lbs with 4500 lbs of it up front. With the camper and occupants we were close to 11,500 lbs with 7000 lbs on the rear. With the camper loaded and trailer hitched, the rear was at 8000 lbs and the truck at 12,500 lbs. You will notice my front end did not unload weight at all but it didn't gain anything from occupants in cab either. My GCW with camper and trailer varied 16,500-19,500 lbs.
