TC or a "B", would like some opinions/advice...

You don't have to buy a new B. If you don't need to drive the truck without camper, and don't really need a truck, buy a used B. You can't overcome 7 in your list with a TC other than not parking in a seedy part of town.

Consider a light stripped down popup like a Four Wheel Camper. Add solar, buy a small gas generator and carry gasoline that can also be used in your truck. Propane generators are very loud in comparison. Leave the TC on the truck.
