I faced a similar decision, but I'm retired, single, and have other vehicles for daily driving (including a '95 Toyota 4x4 pickup). I spend very few nights in CG's, many in parking lots, truck stops, rest areas, and the woods. Having owned 2 B's I didn't want to give up the bed-to-driver's seat thing.
My answer was the Tiger CX. After 7.5 years & 57,000 miles, I still love it. If it got totaled tomorrow, I'd buy another, and be very impatient while it was being built.
