Probably the owner of an 80s Dodge, Ford, or GM pickup would take offense if you said you "supposed" his truck met the definition of a pickup. A B from the 80s is about as similar to a B from the 2010s as pickups would be from the same eras.

Previously owned a 2003 Pleasure Way (B) Dodge chassis and currently own a 2006 Pleasure Way (B) Mercedes chassis.
Both contain shower (inside and out), kitchen and bathroom sinks, refridgerator, water heater, fresh, black, and gray tanks, furnace, Onan 2.8, house A/C with heat strip, fantastic fan, stove, convection / microwave oven, televison, dvd player, multiple ac outlets, multiple 12V outlets, air assist suspension, tow package, etc. etc. etc..
Same, same, except for the chassis.
