  • "Over kill" comes to mind, all my vehicle have matching bumper stickers, but this is something else.
  • I attended a Bass Masters tournament on Lake Seminole a few years back. Most of the "Pro Bass" fisherfolk (some were not men) were in large Motor Homes. They were having a grand ole time both during and after the day's fishing.

I was thinking the same thing. Some don't even want a dot on their rig, while others go far the other direction. The variety keeps things interesting and different.
  • To fish the tour events you have to fish out of a wrapped boat , the truck and camper follow. Its all about sponsorship
  • When I was at Martins Fishcamp on Lake Okechobee many of the newer Bass Masters pro fisherman types had Truck campers so that they could tow their own boats.

The fishemen were decked out in their facny uniforms with all of the logos. We spent some time with the guy that Lance was sponsoring.

What ever the sponsor wants is going to happen... daddy doesn't pay for this

Professional fishermen have a following much like Nascar.... the fans want to see the flash and dash.

I'd like to have my TC covered to protect it.

Do they have a following of groupies and paparazzi too, like Justin Bieber?? :B
  • Ever Green International is a Japanese fishing tackle company. That may have been Morizo Shimizu, a professional bass fishermen, who is sponsored by them. The Bassmasters Classic 2014 was recently held on Lake Guntersville and that very well may have been him. Yep, a professional fisherman! Who'd a thunk! :W
  • Yup, that's why I got my 1055. I wanted to spend more than a day at some of the far away lakes with my twenty foot Ranger. The fishing action can be off on one day and on the next. The pro life is a grueling and expensive one. I have fished some tournaments and where there is money envolved it will bring out the worst in folks. I still want fishing to be as a fun recreational experience and not work!
  • That's what I need, I need a SPONSOR! Preferable one with great graphics. Desert camo and your companies logo would work well for southwestern boondocking on my truck and camper! :B

It was some different Japanese name, guy driving the truck did not look Japenese!:E

This was a week before the tournament, neat seeing the setup's, where they had TC's and able to pull their boats. Licenses, were not from East States.

There were couple other C's setup with separate trucks & boats.

Saw more heading that direction, on our way back to Atlanta, Campground is sould out this weekend.
