If you like the tents, Northstar is still making small versions of them. They are narrower, basementless campers. You can even get the tent in a popup, but you'd probably want to go with a hardside to have an always ready bathroom.
We've done the trailer. Trailers suck. :P
A TC is nicer to drive, nicer to park, and better to explore. I love having my camper with me for day trips away from the campsite; why the heck would you leave your fridge and toilet back at the campsite?
I guess in OR you do have to register your TC, but at least you don't need to get it tires. Definitely less maintenance...
