We have a double slide TC and we cannot access the inside of it without deploying the slides. That being said and as mentioned before, deploying the slides only take seconds to do so and the benefits are great. The added room out weighs any MINOR inconvenience of opening and closing the slides. Even in a down poor it's not a problem. The couch in the rear makes all the difference in the world to us. Don't get too concerned about the number of cycles of opening and closing with slides, remember they are engineered that way. Doesn't mean you won't have a problem, but you may not as well. I agree with what has been posted about TC's with multiple slides not being ideal with off road camping, they are big and heavy, but some people can still manage to do it. We wouldn't because we think the probability of slide failure increase considerably, as well as other components. Again, not to say you can't, just speaking for ourselves. All being said, get the Cascade your looking at, It's a really nice TC and you'll be pleasantly surprised at how happy and glad you did. Good luck, and have a great time.
