We definately use our truck campers differently...
Some people drive 2 or 3 hours to a local campground, park, set up "camp" and stay until the beer runs out. The don't need to enter theit camper except ifthey stop for more beer on the way to the campground. They don't need a lunch and if they are younger they can wait for the toilet longer.
I have been following kohldad's trip reports for a long time... his sister and her DH have been to our house and I follow their travel TR's too... their range of travels are often several days or more from home... then a big loop and return home a different way... they visit lots of places.
What's the difference?
Think about how many time you enter and leave your stick built home every day.
Easy... you don't have to move a room to get in or out of your house...
You TC is your house when traveling... many of us use the bath room, take another break for a sandwich... have a spouse that demands :o to use the bathroom, NOW! Then get tired... driving 5 or 6 hours... maybe take a nap. Everything we do on our extended travels require access to our TC home.
Is it all right for some one to question our uses of our Trucks and Truck Campers... to insinuate that we don't do it our way? Infer that we'd lie about it?
The "doubters" (seem to think we are lying by our statements) Their needs are different but will probably change over time... they'll get older, they'll slow down... change their tunes to say that "people that say they don't need in their triuck campers 5 times a day are making that up.
Again... how many time have you already opened a door to your home today and went in or out?
Would you like to have to move the kitchen out of the way to get to the bathroom... move the couch to get to the bed... every time you needed access? Realy? REALLY?
We don't need an A, B, or C... all we need is a truck camper with full access any and all of the time. Like my lance 1161, or the Lance 1191 with a slide if we want one.
