Feb 24, 2017Your warranty doesn't exist with the dealer, it exists with the manufacturer. If the dealer is giving you a hard time already then work with the manufacturer and/or another dealer. I would bring it in sooner than later. Let a dealer evaluate the damage and get their opinion on if the repair can wait or not. They may be able to perform a manufacturer approved quick fix to allow you to go on your trip and do the permanent fix later.
