All newer screens are all solid state, mostly built with SMD components. There is little that road travel can do to harm them.
IMO, Jensen only builds with one thing in mind--price. That's why their electronics are used in RV's, it is a decision made by the mfg. Otherwise, we would all have Sony's or Samsung screens in our RV's.
As it turns out, our fifth wheel came with a Samsung in the living room and Jensen in the bedroom...both have seemed to operate well. Prior to the fifth wheel we had a TT that came without a TV??? We bought a name brand at a WalMart and used it without any issues.
