Similar to the semi, the size of batteries needed to tow any real weight long distances will need to be huge and heavy which will cut into its capabilities and/or regulated weight limits. And of course, the bigger the batteries, the more power needed to fast charge them.
Semis are already viable and with advanced orders and future productions sold out.
Elon Musk success is seeing the light, not the clouds eclipsing it.
