Could be cool. Not so much for towing a camper though. Especially since there is no infrastructure at CGs to re-charge with. Most likely these are going to be far more expensive than a well decked out 1500/150 series.
Actually, camp grounds (well, RV parks, if we are getting technical) are the most well equipped places to recharge an EV outside of Cracker Barrell or a Nissan dealership.
Those 30 and 50 amp sites make it easy. Depending on the Range whilst towing with the Tesla it may be way more than doable. It may revolutionize things for a lot of folks.
I know I know there will be people who hold out because they just see themselves plugging in... it ain’t a real truck kinda crowd.
The. Again, there are people who still only drive gassers because Diesel may not be available....so...
IF Tesla can give us a truck with 200-300 miles of range before needing a charge while towing then this is possible....very possible.
Thanks and JMHO

I'd say it's gotta be more than that. I can drive about 250-300 miles before we have to stop for gas while towing. And after a 4 minute fill up I can be back on the road. That is the weakness that electric vehicles still have, the fill up time is inconvenient for those of us that only have 1 week at a time to get to the destination, enjoy the vacation, then get back home (and to work).
I can only imagine the back up that would occur trying to get my electric truck and 32' of camper up to the super charger for an hour charge. I'd block the entire parking lot.
