Can they use this concept for a pickup? Let’s say 2 x100 KWH semi isolated packs. If they can charge from two Superchargers simultaneously that would keep the average supercharge under half an hour assuming version three Supercharger rates of 170 KWH. They would have to use two separate Superchargers though as one Supercharger that provides two hookups can only run at max 170 KW between the two.
Guess we’ll have to wait and see. Interesting times.

Most likely they can just combine the currents within the truck. This is a stopgap measure for the demonstration trucks only. Tesla is working on "Megachargers" for the semi's and should start installing them in a few months. I expect the pickups to be able to use those chargers too.
