Let me update you with the discussion, just a few post below: it's now mega chargers (hopefully the new pick up launch can use too).
And batteries are now being recycled. That's why you get a credit of $20 (or get charged $20) for your dead ones even for your old fashioned traditional batteries.
Why would their be heavy rains? Just because I asked a valid question that a fleet manager would ask and need to know if he had a fleet of these trucks? Or is it just because you only want to hear positive things about Tesla and let everyone have participation trophy's?
I know they plan on having megachargers. If you would actually read my previous posts then you will see that I mentioned them several times. I was just commenting on the article where they needed five superchargers for one truck and wonder how many would be needed for a fleet, and how much energy.
You might want to recheck your stats for Li-on batteries, not Lead acid batteries. If sales go as projected and they don't find a economically viable way to recycle them soon, then we might have a battery landfill problem especially with the bigger semi batteries which will likely not last as long.
