My Platinum has a posted payload of just over 3400lbs with the 11.5k GVWR so that f250 with the 10k GVRW will most likely be at or under 2000lbs. Fine for a heavy tow behind but not enough for a fiver. This year the SRW trucks have different rear axles between the F250 and F350 so my understanding is that it's no longer just a sticker rating deal and the F350 SRW has an actual beefier axle rated for 7200lbs ~ instead of 6200lbs ~.
alexleblanc is correct IMHO. If you are going to pull 5th wheel go F350 SRW (if SRW is what you want). If going F250 look for the (Trailer Tow Package-High capacity) It will increase GCW to 25700.
If your going to get a new tow vehicle do yourself a favor and go to the Ford (chevy or dodge) build websites and familiarize yourself with the different packages don't just go to the dealer.
These trucks just cost too dang much not to do your research.
