Thank you so much! I have printed out the instructions and finally did it!
Bring on the fish pictures!!! - AnEv942NomadOr just enter 640 (maximum 'allowed' display width on RV net)
as width in the editor. Unless the picture file size is huge then resize. - campn4walleyeExplorerThank you so much! I have printed out the instructions and finally did it!
- Super_DaveExplorerTricia,
640 is about full page width. 640 X 480 = 6" x 4" regular photo. Photobucket has an edit tool that allows you to resize after you've hosted them to your library.
Dave - 2oldmanExplorer IIThis should be done in Forum Tech support.
- campn4walleyeExplorerThank you for the assistance. I will try your instructions.
As it turns out, I forgot to resize the photos, so I must do that.
I did put them on photobucket. Any suggestions on the proper size?
I have posted in the past but have forgotten how I did it, and photobucket has changed a bit too.
I hate to post incorrectly and waste folks' valuable time. It's embarrassing. - AnEv942Nomadumm blink an its gone...origianly was text url to p/b album, no img tags or link tags so obvioulsy all that was shown was the text. I cut and pasted into browser and ended up at album slide show page, pic of camper offloaded-so link was good, just no tags and copied from browser navigation window instead to the "links to share this photo window".
However it appears he copied the url from the browser address window which linked to the current picture within album slide show, not an individual picture, so if he had used the img tags wouldnt have worked. If he had used the link tags would have been a clicky to his entire album via the slide show, but generally not what is wanted.
To get a single picture posted on rv.net need to copy the "direct link" from the p/b "share..." window, use the image button within rv editor pasting in copied direct link from the share box on the pb page like jamminalong shows. I use the album view not the slide show so links are displayed under each picture directly.

Edit
1492 put up a video on the tech forum showing linking pic from P/B pretty cool
