the 3 most important charecteristics of your TT to you

For me here are my three so far while I am learning about

I want a slide for added room and comfort

I want one with a dinette and a couch with decent view of the television.

I want one with at least a queen bed for me and the wife and maybe even. Bunk system for my two boys.

Now I would love to hear from some of the veteran TRee's on what they like or looked for

  • The three most important featues for us were:
    A walk-around bed
    A comfortable sofa
    A nice bathroom

    Note that a dinette did not make the list: our camper has no dinnette and we don't miss it!

    While it was not on our list of important features, the thing I could never give up is the refrigerator. After 20 years of fretting where we could get our next block of ice I now have the luxury of actually making ice. Life is good!
  • -Separate bunkhouse
    -outdoor kitchen
    -big slide

    -2nd door direct into bath. Wasn't a must at the time but now don't know how we lived without it.
  • Outdoor kitchen.
    Nice bathroom with glass door shower.
    Super slide with couch and dinette in it.
    Walk around bed.
  • High quality construction.
    Four-season capability.
    80" bed length
  • Great thread. When I'm asked for suggestions I often tell people to make a list of what they have to have in a RV before they go shopping.

    For us it was:
    * Walk around bed.
    * A slide to make the living area more comfortable.
    * A minimum of about 2000# CCC
    * Hard sides - no more aluminum siding.

    Sorry that was 4 things but thats what we wanted.
  • Fits next to garage, handles sloped driveway, and has six beds. 21ft bunkhouse hybrid.
  • Most important for me was:

    Sits high for good ground clearance to keep the tail end from dragging and on dirt roads.

    Recliner for comfort

    big shower and toilet area

    Comfortable bed
