I'm surprised at how powerful the 6.2L V8 is in the GM trucks. That would be an excellent powerplant for the 2500HD. There is obviously a reason they have never put in in a HD truck, but that 6.2L & 10 speed would be a sweet combo in a 2500HD.
While I'm on the topic, the reviewers mentioned that Ram should put the 6.4L in the 1500 trucks as an option. I think that's a great idea. When the 7.0L (426) gasser is put in the 2500/3500, they could shift that 6.4L into the half tons!
I was also surprised by the fact that the 3.5L EB and the GM 6.2L are very comparable on the dyno.
