I really don't know what I get towing because I don't tow that far. As I said in a earlier post I have a 2004 half ton Silverado with the 5.3. Empty I get 14-15. It seems,,seems, being the key word here; that I get 11-12 towing. But, since I'm just a weekend camper, that lives on flat land, and I never go more then 70 miles from home I never get a really good test. Now, I have learned in my area to drive according to conditions. There are a lot of little rolling hills around here and by letting my speed slowly increase going down hill. Then letting my speed scrub off going up hill and using my momentum to pull me up over the crest of the hill I seem to get my best gas mileage. But, it takes a lot of concentration to do this.
