My brother and I went this past November on a fly fishing trip to Colorado. It was just the 2 of us and we camped at state parks that were open and were gone 7 days. Camped in temps down to 16 degrees and loved it. On one of the days we were driving along and my brother says turn up the next road and lets see where it goes. We went several miles on rough terrain and came to a frozen over water fall. We stood there and just gazed for around an hour. We left there and my brother was not a truck camper owner. That changed around 3 weeks after we were home because he was so impressed by the ability to just leave the main road and go. I am 6 foot 4 and my truck camper is a pop up and that door just is not fun but I would not trade for anything. I am very attached to my truck camper and cannot imagine being without it. My brother is a very avid truck camper now and that makes it all the better because we have camped many times since then together with our wives and families.
