Um, not really. There are many NP, SP and FS campgrounds with 22 and 24 foot limits. Also, lots of "trailers not advised" CGs. Often, these are some of the best in an area, as they tend to be the ones that were the most remote and difficult to carve out of the terrain.
And on your "small road" comment, those are "small roads" that are off the pavement.
It's the small roads off the small roads off the dirt roads where TCs really shine. You'd never see these pulling a 5er, much less be able to take one.
But, you're right. To each his own. Much of the towed crowd we talk to (when we are "forced" into an RV park) doesn't even know what they're missing. They cant believe that we "live" in a TC for 2.5 months!
Well, we dont. We are outside of the TC.
