I don't think you could go wrong with a Northern-Lite, but I own one so I am obviously biased. The Northern-Lite's seem to get better and better with respect to the creature comforts. For example, they just announced the changes they made to the mid-2017 models, including a new door that includes internal shades, a charging station below the radio, and a single lever faucet. Mine is essentially a 2017 that had to be badged as a 2016, so I benefitted from the changes they made for 2017 - Bluetooth radio, new AC design, integrated LED's in the rear awning, etc.
Yeah - the truck comes with a pretty good charging station and 110V/300W power feature, but it's good to know the NL camper has one or two. Thought I was going to have to hook everything up in the truck. Really like the internal frame mounted shades. Thought that one of the coolest features - besides the boat like hull. Like that the windows open out rather than to the side, too (lots of rain where I'll be). Wondered what would happen in the other campers with the shades bouncing about while driving - so was pleased to see them designed internally within the frame. Didn't even think it had shades or screens until the guy in the video started working them and was all, "Yes! Too cool!" Thanks much for the reply.
