Furnace? Full-timers seem to use a catalytic heater to heat right before bed or morning, most of them turning if off during the night.
Research Olympian wave catalytic heaters. Blue flame heaters are also getting more popular. People say both are far more efficient than furnace. No fan for starters, zero battery usage.
Cooking, Webber Q1200! Smell and moisture all outdoors! Connect up to the unused propane connection in the genny compartment.
Enjoy, you're getting out there 1-2 years earlier than I am!
BTW, when I rented the Cruise America TC is was 30's and 40's at night ... made it 1.5 weeks on the 5 gallon LP that is filled to 4 gallons ... You should make 2 weeks no problem (with catalytic heater, no furnace. I had to use the furnace some, no catlytic heater yet). Worst case, carry an extra 5 gallon tank in the truck.
I'd like it if NL goes to tankless/on demand water heater, adds cost $1k? but no heating 6 gallons of water to use 1 gallon in your NAVY shower!
